Revolution doesn't protect from ticks unfortunately. You will need another product like Frontline Plus for ticks. For a full spectrum protection we highly recommend Nexgard Spectra instead of purchasing two seperate products.

It is approved for use in pregnant and nursing dogs but please consult your vet first as a precaution.

If stronghold and revolution are the same, why doesn't stronghold have the "controls American dog tick infestations" listed?
Answer:
Stronghold is the European version of Revolution. Because american dog ticks live only eastern part of North America, listing this is not only irrelevant, also it would be confusing too for European customers.

Answer:
There is no difference at all. For licensing reasons, Pfizer - the manufacturer- markets this product as different Brands on different countries. They are exactly the same products with the same formula.

I have used Revolution since our dog was pup. It has always taken care of the fleas and ticks and also controls Heart Worms without any side effects. Great product.
